The Vinyl Attic is the online record store of Knighton Music. We’ve been in the business of selling recorded music for almost 25 years, specializing in classics & jazz CDs and vinyl, and over time expanding our stock to cover blues, country, folk, nostalgia and some popular music too. We operated a specialist record shop in Leicester city centre many years ago but since that closed we’ve continued as we began in 2000 with mail order via our online jazz store, The Bebop Shop & the Amazon storefront The CD Loft. Until now these were the only outlets offering an online catalogue from which to buy records from us online.

The Vinyl Attic @ Knighton now fulfills our wish to make available all our in-stock inventory of LPs, singles, CDs & music DVDs and covers all the aforementioned genres and more. Here you’ll find lots of new and used vinyl records and CDs, lots of limited editions and rarities, audiophile quality pressings and secondhand albums at great prices.

We’re constantly adding albums to our inventory; not everything we have is listed on the website so if you don’t see what you’re looking for then give us a call and we’ll check our stock. You never know, we might just have it or we can try to obtain it for you.

Knighton Music continues to offer a special-order service for all your music requirements and, in stock or not, you can always order over the phone or drop us an email. We pride ourselves on great customer service and we always have time for a chat about music and records in the good old-fashioned tradition of the record shop. We’re music-lovers and avid record collectors ourselves.
